313@Somerset Created through Lend Lease’s integrated property skills involving its three business streams of Bovis Lend Lease, Lend Lease Retail and Lend Lease Investment Management, 313@Somerset is a project that aims to develop the most sustainable shopping centre in the Asian region. 313@Somerset aims to not only reduce operating expenses by mitigating exposure to future rises in energy costs, but to also introduce community engagement programmes that take the characteristics of the local cultural, historical and natural environment into account. This project also aims to reduce the carbon footprint, reduce water usage and establish estate recycling as part of the development. |

KTP Hospital The new home of Alexandra Hospital—Khoo Teck Puat Hospital @ Yishun (KTPH@Yishun) is a 550 bed hospital procured through international design competition by the Ministry of Health, and managed by the management team of Alexandra Hospital. To be commissioned in the first quarter of 2010, KTPH@Yishun is designed to support the hospital’s Mission to “Improve Health and Reduce Illness through Patient-Centered Quality Healthcare that is accessible and seamless, comprehensive, appropriate and cost-effective, in an environment of continuous learning and relevant research.” |

Zero Energy Building BCA’s Zero Energy Building (ZEB) @ BCA Academy is BCA’s flagship R&D project to showcase various advanced green building technologies, with emphasis on energy efficiency. The first of its kind in Singapore, ZEB will be grid-connected but will be net zero, i.e. not drawing energy from the grid over a 12 months period. The 3,000-sq metre building is expected to be 60 percent more energy efficient than conventional buildings, and to be fully powered by solar energy. |

Tampines Concourse A three-storey contemporary office building in the heart of Tampines Regional Centre, 11 Tampines Concourse boasts of many firsts in terms of sustainable construction and design features. The project was envisioned to be a uniquely simplified and cost-effective development aimed to provide a healthy, customer and community friendly working environment. The development is situated near the bus interchange and Tampines MRT Station earily connects to the test of Singapore via the ECP, PIE and TPE. It is also surrounded by abundant amenities such as shopping malls, a sports stadium, regional library, post office and community centre. |

Samwoh Eco Building Partially funded by the MND Research grant, the objective of this project is to conduct a full scale study on the use of Recycled Concrete Aggregates (RCA) in structural concrete for building structures. It involves determining the optimal design of concrete mix with RCA for constructing an actual three-storey building. Extensive instrumentation is carried out on the building to monitor the structural performance of the RCA material. The building is the first in Singapore and one of the few in the world to be constructed using concrete with high dosage of RCA. |

Tampines Grande Designed as a cutting-edge, new generation Green office with environmental sustainability in mind, 7 & 9 Tampines Grande boasts the largest use of solar photovoltaic and solar thermal panels in a commercial property in Singapore, measuring some 2,080 square metres installed on its roofs and facade. IT is also the first to incorporate a solar air-conditioning system here. Collectively, the development's green features will contribute to an estimated energy savings for the entire building amounting to 2.7 million kWh per year and a reduction in CO2 emission by approximately 1,4000 tonnes per year. In all, CDL invested approximately 4 percent of the total construction cost into the development of the building's numerous green features. |
